Look at the current case of Mulamwah. We were mesmerized when they revealed that they were an item. We were glued to Keeping Up With The Mulamwahs as the couple showed us their lavidavi. Then, Baby Keilah came, and we were all excited that the family had become complete.

All of a sudden, they came out to say they had broken up. Before we could digest it, Mulamwah decided to serve us with the real tea, exposing deals we have no business knowing.

Weeh!

Sadly, the Mulamwahs are not the only celebrities with nasty breakups. Our entertainment industry is always full of drama, and these breakups keep the drama we love enjoying alive.

Betty Kyalo and Dennis Okari

If there was a couple I believed would be powerful is Betty Kyalo and Denis Okari. They were both influential media personalities. They had a daughter, Ivanna, and most importantly, a mega wedding that the whole country talked about until rumors of their divorce began.

Then, suddenly, we started hearing that Betty had moved out of their matrimonial home and started Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho. After a while, she broke her silence and revealed that Dennis refused to show up for their traditional marriage the first time they tried getting married. When we thought we were done with the Okaris, Betty’s sister, Mercy, came out with damning details about Dennis being a deadbeat father, especially when their daughter was ill.

Luckily the ex-couple overcame their drama, and they are co-parenting well.

Nicah the Queen and Dr. Ofweneke

We all know that Comedian Dr. Ofweneke does not shy away from praising his wife. Well, for those who do not know, there was gospel singer Nicah the Queen before the current bae. The two gave us sleepless nights by showing us how much they were in love.

At one point, Nicah opened up that her then-lover, Dr. Ofweneke, proposed to were while they were naked in the bathroom! What bond could be stronger than this? But kumbe Satan was at work!

The couple came out to reveal that they had broken up shortly after their engagement. Nica accused Dr. Ofweneke of abusing her physically, and there was a lot of online back and forth between them for a long time.

Like the Ex-Okaris, they patched up their differences, and they are co-parenting.

Shaniqwa and Mkale Mzungu

Nothing is fun when you get to work with the one you love the most. Ask Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdallah. Unfortunately, this was not the case with comedian Shaniqwa and his wife Mkale Mzungu, whose official names are Kevin Mwangi and Naomi Jemutai, respectively.

The two would appear in skits, and the chemistry between them was unmatchable. We thought things were fine between them until late last year when Shaniqwa dropped the bombshell that Mkale Mzungu had left him and their son for another man. Shaniqwa, who was jobless then, claimed that his wife disrespected him when he became broke.

The following day, his wife came out to give us more juice about what happened. According to her, Shaniqwa abused her mentally and physically. She even narrated an incident when Shaniqwa bet her up three months after she delivered their son through a C-Section. She also disclosed that Shaniqwa had cheated on her the entire marriage.

Keranta and Amore

Sensational YouTubers Keranta and Amore were at the peak of the couple’s goals content until they shocked us with the sudden news of their breakup last year. Then the drama started unfolding. Amore went online to accuse Keranta of cheating on him at a party.

Shortly after, Keranta started her own channel and opened up that she had left Amore because of his narcissistic behavior. The two have been showing each other online feuds of body shaming each other despite moving on with other people. You know what, their wrangles have been like tea to us!

Maureen Waititu and Frank Gymit

This list could not be complete without Maureen Waititu and Frank, a couple that made us believe that love is completely beautiful. The couple had a channel where they shared their love journey and parenting. Then, they stopped posting for a while, and we were all worried about what had happened to them.

They realized our worry, and they decided to come out to reveal that they had broken up because things were not working between them. At first, we were contented that at least they had ended things without drama, but weeeh! Holes started revealing themselves when Frank started dating socialite Corazon and paged her almost immediately.

An angry Maureen went online to accuse Frank of being a deadbeat father. She claimed that her relationship with Frank had caused her to suffer mental issues. Frank decided “Kama mbaya mbaya!” He also went online to accuse Maureen of denying him access to their children because he had moved on with Corazon.

As fate would have it, Corazon and Franc broke up recently despite being engaged and having two children together.
