Karen Nyamu, Jalango, CS Aisha Jumwa, among VIPs gracing Akothee’s wedding

Langata MP Phelix Odiwuor, aka Jalang’o, has not disappointed her friend Akothee after stepping out for her wedding, wearing black and white shoes to complete his look.

Jalang’o was accompanied by his cute wife Amina Chao, who wore a white kaftan (shirt and trousers) with a touch of gold.

Gender CS Aisha Jumwa is also among the influential people who have arrived for the wedding.

The singer is expected to walk down the aisle today alongside the groom, Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.

Other dignitaries who have arrived to grace the occasion which is taking place at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi include county first ladies and local celebrities.

They include Kisumu First Lady Dorothy Nyong’o and Migori counterpart Agnes Ayacko as well as lawyer Patrick Lumumba.

Nominated senator Karen Nyamu was also not left behind. She posted photo wearing a pink dress, saying she was in attendance.
“Here for Akoth’s big day. Congratulations mama! Love is a beautiful thing Akothee.” she said.

The singer and businesswoman Akothee and her fiancé, Schweizer ‘Omosh’, will wed on Monday, which is also her birthday.

Akothee, through her Facebook page, says that everything is set for her big day.

Akothee said she paid for an extra plane ticket for her gown to fly business class.

Speaking to online median, Akothee said the gown was a gift to herself.

“The gown cost me about Sh700, 000 to purchase in one of the best places in the world,” she said.

Akothee also dismissed claims that her wedding is fake, saying she does not need to chase clout to make money.
