A woman fainted and died while worshipping at a Nairobi church.
The woman’s identity is unknown.
According to police, they were in the church when the middle-aged woman fell.
She was taken to Mbagathi Hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
Police were later called to the hospital and the scene of the incident to investigate.
The reason of death, according to Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei, is unknown.
“An autopsy will be conducted on the body after we identify her. This will help in the probe at large,” he said.
Other churchgoers speculated that the woman had fainted while praying.
It wasn’t until ushers stated that the situation was severe that she was transferred to a car and then to the hospital.
Bungei stated that experts will investigate the incident to determine what occurred.
He stated that the body had no evident injuries when it was assessed at the hospital.
