Embarambamba promises a Never-seen before performance during William Ruto’s swearing-in

Popular Kisii musician Embarambamba has confirmed that he will be one of the performers at William Ruto’s inauguration on September 13th.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second and final term in office is coming to an end, and the president-elect will succeed him.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at The Moi Kasarani Sports Centre in Nairobi.

Visitors will be treated to entertainment by a variety of groups prior to the swearing-in, not to mention displays by the military police from the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).

Embarambamba claimed he would be one of those hired to give entertainment in an interview with TUKO.

He will, however, be a supporting performer for Douglas Otiso, a different Kisii singer.

“On Tuesday, we will be at Kasarani Stadium to entertain Kenyans as president-elect William Ruto takes the oath of office. I will be accompanying Douglas Otiso, who will be performing his songs. We are currently at Kasarani Stadium undertaking practice,” Embarambamba said.

It’s interesting that the self-described gospel performer announced he would suspend his shenanigans due to the gravity of the situation.

But he added that if necessary, he would perform some of his well-known tricks, such as random sprints and somersaults, to keep his supporters entertained.

“I don’t think we will have so much to give out. Our performance may be modest as this is a very important function. But if the situation allows we may unleash one or two stunts known of Embaramambamba,” he said.
On why he was not contracted alongside the other main performers, the artiste said;

“I was told I would be given another chance next time. I will be patient and wait for another chance. But for this, I will be appearing behind Otiso, who is a revered Kisii artiste.”
