Kenyan Journalist Dies in Gruesome Road Accident

The journalism fraternity is mourning the tragic passing of a colleague following an accident along the Kisumu-Kakamega road.

Dickens Wasonga, a staff member of Radio Africa Group’s The Star newspaper in Kisumu, passed away on Friday, January 26, following a collision with a trailer on the Mamboleo highway.

The scribe was apparently driving alone when he struck the trailer during the early morning crash, and he instantly passed away.

His sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.
