Tension As WHO Declares Ebola Outbreak In Neighbouring Country

After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared an Ebola outbreak in our neighboring country, alarming rumors started to circulate.

The most feared disease, Ebola is a fatal illness that kills victims in a matter of hours. The nation’s health minister reportedly stated that investigators are looking into six other strange fatalities this month.

“Uganda confirms an outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Mubende District, Uganda. The confirmed case is a 24-year-old male a resident of Ngabano village of Madudu Sub County presented with EVD symptoms and later succumbed,” the Uganda Health Ministry said.

This is indeed so much worrying as thr disease might spread faster to neighboring countries of Uganda such as Kenya, Tanzania among others.

However, much care and precaution is being taken by the ministry of health in Uganda so as to control its spread.
