Rhumba Musician Mbilia Bel Joins Azimio, Declares Support For Raila Odinga

Rhumba legend Mbilia Bel joined the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party’s campaign caravan in Nyeri on Tuesday. The caravan was led by Raila Odinga and his vice presidential candidate Martha Karua.

Odinga escorted Mbilia Bel to the stage, where her 2017 hit single “Nakei Nairobi” was played.

In a brief speech to the gathering, the Rhumba queen urged Nyeri citizens to support Odinga and Karua.

The other lawmakers then joined her on stage as she performed the well-known song, which is a favorite of most Rhumba fans.
