“Ni mcute” – Kamene says she competed for DJ Bonnez with men who wanted him

Former Kiss presenter Kamene Goro has said that other men were interested in her husband DJ Bonnez when they first started dating.

In a new episode of her YouTube channel, which she shares with her friend Oga Obinna, she told how a gentleman couldn’t stop telling her how cute her man was at one time.

“Actually when I started dating Bonnez, a lot of guys used to hit on him. A lot of men used to like Bonnez. Mpaka kuna mwingine akakuja kuniambia tukiwa Mombasa akisema, ‘eeh lakini huyu DJ Bonnez ni mcute’.

Adding:

“Akaniambia mara moja, mara mbili mara ya tatu nikamwambia oya skiza, nikamuuliza unataka nini sasa, do you want us to fight? Why are you telling me he’s cute. Mimi niko hapo, dem wa Nairobi, you think I don’t know he’s cute,” she said.

Kamene recounted her experiences in response to recent situations in which male celebrities publicly declared their love and interest in Oga Obinna.

This comes only weeks after crossdresser Jony Hairdresser claimed to be in a relationship with Obinna and even bought him a property.

In April, Kamene Goro got married to her fiancé DJ Bonez.

The two, who have been together for two years, got married at a wedding event attended by family and close friends.

The couple got engaged in 2022 in Diani. They had known each other long before then but they hardly spoke.

“I have known him for like five or six years. We did not like each other at all. We had mad beef, he used to say I’m ratchet,” Kamene said during a KISS breakfast show.

They were celebrating the relationship’s second anniversary at that time.

“I always advocate for one thing, ‘good love’,” Kamene said.

Kamene’s former co-presenters at KISS FM, Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o and Oga Obinna attended the wedding.

Jalang’o took to Instagram to congratulate her for the milestone.
