Raila Odinga, the Azimio presidential candidate, and Kalonzo Musyoka, his Wiper rival, have contributed Sh3 million to Machakos fire victims.
The two gave Sh2 million and Sh1 million in cash to traders who lost their properties in the Grogon market fire in Machakos County a few weeks ago.
When Kalonzo took Wiper leaders to the market on Tuesday, he gave the donations to the victims.
Machakos gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti, Senator Agnes Kavindu, Woman representative Joyce Kamene, MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Stephen Mule (Matungulu), and Robert Mbui were among the Wiper leaders who joined him (Kathiani).
Wavinya made a personal donation of Sh500,000, and Kamene and Kavindu each made a Sh100,000 donation.
