The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday announced over 1,896 job vacancies.
In a notice shared via its official social media pages, the commission announced that the vacancies target positions across different state departments.
PSC said there are 900 vacancies for the clerical officer II position under the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration.

Under the same department, there are 800 vacancies for senior support staff.
The commission also advertised 50 positions for Children’s Officer II, 58 positions for a Land Valuer, 30 positions for Social Development Officer II, Assistant Social Development Officer III (20), Deputy Director, Foreign Service (7), Deputy Director, foreign service (8), assistant director, foreign service (11), shipping and maritime officer I (8).
Other positions include one position for government chemist, one position for assistant director gender, one position for director, of roads and rail transport services (1), one director of internal trade (1) and one position for the director of regional development.
Additionally, the commission announced two vacancies for the assistant director for tourism, research, policy and innovation, two positions for assistant director for tourism, development and promotion and one position for assistant director, of tourism investment and finance.
Those interested have been asked to apply on or before November 21, 2023, at 5 pm.
