Kabogo officially endorses Raila for presidency

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has publicly endorsed the ODM Leader Raila Odinga to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

Speaking during a rally in Kiambu, the vocal politician asked the residents to vote for him and Raila Odinga.

“Na mimi naomba mafans wa Raila Odinga, ukipigia Raila, pigia Governor Kabogo. Tunaelewana,” Kabogo said.

Tujibebe Party leader William Kabogo recently cut ties with DP William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza alliance after weeks of a standoff over Kiambu Governorship battle.

Kabogo and Moses Kuria had been embroiled in a political supremacy tussle with UDA’s top leadership over the oppression of their parties to the advantage of Ruto’s preferred candidates.

The two had been seeking an address by Kenya Kwanza principles who they had requested to organize a meeting to deliberate on their complaints and chart a way forward.

Earlier this year, had revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta refers to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga as the fifth president.

“You cannot run away from the fact that Raila is now Uhuru’s candidate if you are a seasoned politician, you should see it,” Kabogo said.

The Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader also said that during Raila Odinga’s 77th birthday celebration party on Friday, January 7, at his Karen residence, the Head of State referred to the ODM supremo as the ‘Fifth president’, a clear indication that the opposition chief is the ‘chosen one’.

“The other day at the birthday party, I am told he said hello to the fifth. You do not need more signals,” Kabogo revealed.
