Joshua Kutuny says he will not campaign for Raila or Ruto

Cherang’any constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Joshua Kutuny has distanced himself from Raila and Ruto campaigns.

According to Kutuny, he is yet decide on who to campaign for between Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party flag bearer Raila Odinga and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Presidential candidate, Deputy President William Ruto.

Speaking to supporters in Chepsiro, Kiptoror area, Kutuny alluded that after soul searching, he has resolved to concentrate on his re-election politics.


“People don’t eat politics; I have personally worked for Mwai Kibaki, Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and William Ruto. I have realized they’re all the same, that’s why I have decided to look for my own votes” Kutuny said.


The outspoken lawmaker further highlighted that the gubernatorial position, Member of Parliament (MP) and Member of County Assembly (MCA) positions are the most important elective seats because they are in touch with the electorates.

“As an experienced politician and an expert in matters politics, I have learnt that the position of Member of Parliament, MCA and Governor are the most crucial, the President’s seat is an added advantage” he added.
