Nairobi governor-elect Johnson Sajaka has been officially sworn into office today.
The swearing-in took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi.
There were security personnel to ensure maximum security.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the governor-elect took and subscribed to the oath of office as prescribed in the Act.
The president-elect William Ruto was among the leaders who attended the swearing-in ceremony.
Governor Sakaja was accompanied by his family members to the function.
