Drama as Garissa ballot papers are found in Chuka

There was some uncertainty earlier today, Monday, August 8, when the ballots for the counties of Garissa and Kilifi were discovered somewhere else.

Election authorities in Chuka found ballots for the Fafi Ward in Garissa County when they received voting materials from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

A pallet of voting boxes for Kilifi county was also discovered in Mombasa.

At the same time, Kirinyaga county ballots were discovered in Mumias East sub-county, according to Kakamega County returning officer Joseph Ayatta.
