A few days after many Kenyans linked comedian Henry DeSagu to the main suspect in the killing of socialite Starlet Wahu, the sister of Pastor Victor Kanyari, DeSagu broke his silence.
Funny enough, DeSagu denied via his Facebook page that he was connected to the man whose pictures have been making the rounds on social media under the name John Matara.
Despite the fact that many have been making jokes about how similar the two look, DeSagu stated he has nothing to do with Matara.
“I have no relationship with John Matara. Any such Hullabaloo associating me with him should be disregarded, discombulated and disconfised with utmost hesitation,” DeSagu said.
However, his fans maintained their position that DeSagu and Matara, who is currently under police custody, because they look very similar in their facial features.
“Truth be told. The resemblance is amazing, the pose, eye sockets, lips, and facial expression 100% Cow! But what do we say?” Stacey Waweru replied.

John Matara was arrested after the discovery of Wahu’s bloody body in an AirBnB house in South B Street.
Many other women have survived his cruel hands. Wahu was buried in Kamulu, Nairobi, in a hurried ceremony attended by family members. Matara is currently under custody.
