Charlene Ruto offers KSh 100K for Creative Kenyans; Here’s How to Win

Kenyan designers have the opportunity to win KSh 100,000 by participating in a competition to design a logo for The Young People’s Network International (TYPNI).

Leading up to its G-Tume initiative, TYPNI, headed by First Daughter Charlene Ruto, is looking for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to submit their logos.

Along with receiving an automatic TYPNI membership, the winner will also get lunch with Charlene. March 11, 2024, is when the competition ends.

The network accepts all entries regardless of the mode of submission or level of expertise, according to Charlene, who spoke at the competition’s launch on February 19.

“I have an exciting opportunity for you. TYPNI will be running the 30 Things Agenda on youth empowerment, quality and relevant education, youth representation and everything that covers us as young people.

This organisation is ready, but we don’t have a logo. This is where the opportunity is for you,” said Charlene.

She added:

“We are launching a logo competition starting today, and the deadline is 11th March. It doesn’t matter, even if you have a pen and paper.

Wherever you are, whatever tools you have; if you have a laptop or you don’t -whatever it is you have. I want you to become creative and create a logo for TYPNI.”

Inquiries and submissions can be sent to niaje@typni.org. The competition is open to people aged 18 to 30.
