“I’m not ready to be a father now”- Burna Boy reveals why he has no kids
Burna Boy, the renowned Nigerian singer, recently shared his thoughts on why he has chosen not to have a child despite his age and remarkable success in his music career.
In a video, the talented artist explained that he is not yet prepared to take on the responsibilities of fatherhood.
He expressed his desire to provide his future children with even more love and care than he received from his own parents.
Furthermore, Burna Boy dismissed all speculations suggesting that he is unable to have a child. He emphasized that his decision is driven by his current attachment to the love and affection he receives from his mother and father, making it difficult for him to embark on the journey of parenthood.

“I don’t want to have children yet. Have you seen my operation, bro? Have you seen how my mom loves me? Have you seen how my dad loves me? I know I can’t give anyone right now, with the life I live.”
“You feel me… when I’m settled and feel like I can be there for my children every day and every minute, I don’t have a child. I feel like my children deserve better than I got.
Let’s say I couldn’t have children, there’s like IVF that I can do. So those rumors are not true.”
Burna Boy confirms he can’t sire children
In 2022, British superstar Stephanie Victoria Allen, better known by her stage name Stefflon Don revealed that she dumped her lover, Nigerian singer Burna Boy since he could not make her a mum.
The two broke up after three years of dating.
Stefflon publicly addressed the official reason for their breakup on her social media platforms.
She wrote;
” so I didn’t want to mention this before but I have to say it…. ya’all “African giant” is an impotent man,” she wrote.
She added;
“I left him because he could not give me a baby.”
A few days later, the Nigerian superstar responded to the allegations while confirming it was indeed true he is not able to have children.
He wrote;
“Okay yes I am an impotent gorilla but I have money so to hell with it!”
The pair, who started dating in early 2019 had a rocky relationship, with several claims of infidelity.
