Among Diamond Platnimuz’s exes, Zari is and will always be his favorite.
Years after their shocking break-up, Diamond has finally come out to reveal what made the beauty leave him despite bearing him two lovely children.
In an interview with Bbc Swahili, the Tanzanian singer was a man enough to reveal that he was not serious with Zari when they were in a relationship. He also disclosed that he knew their dating would never work because of his ways.
His revelations confirm Zari’s complaints when the relationship ended that the Wasafi Boss was too disrespectful, and he was never there for her when netizens attacked her because she was older than him.
Nonetheless, Diamond seemed to have learned his lesson. He disclosed that he currently holds Zari in high respect. He stated that he respects her for giving him two children he loves dearly.
According to him, Zari comes first before anyone, including the women he dates.
“Zari has blessed me with two children and I love them so much……. That is why I live to respect her. That is why, even when I am in a relationship, I always respect her. I put other women aside and treat her like a queen,” he said.
On why he was never serious with Zari, Diamond claimed that he feared asking her for a serious relationship because he did not want to disappoint her. He explained that the disappointment would have made things worse than when they broke up, and his adorable children would have suffered in the mix.
He explained, “I knew if I ask her to get serious with me, I will have disappointed her and this will make us fall apart again. Our kids will suffer in the midst.”
Diamond has three known baby mamas, Zari, Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, and Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna. Hamisa and Tanasha have one son each.
However, Diamond is always paying more attention to Zari and her children as he visits them a lot in South Africa, where they reside.
