Kenyans react to video of CS Moses Kuria falling off stage at club

Online footage shows Public Service CS Moses Kuria tripping and falling off the stage while dancing to a song by Ben Githae.

In the footage, CS Kuria is seen having a good time dancing on stage at an undisclosed lounge with a band and other partygoers before collapsing.

As his bodyguards keep a close eye on him at the lounge’s stage, the casually dressed CS is obviously enjoying himself while moving the song.

Kuria, however, unexpectedly trips and falls off the stage to the shock of fellow revellers below.

However, Kuria managed to get a footing and walked off the embarrassing moment by joining merrymakers who had rushed to assist him from falling.

A shocked Githae momentarily reached out to grab the CS but, seeing that he was on his feet, went on performing on the stage.

Following the fall, his bodyguards, seemingly caught unawares, quickly jumped in and joined Kuria on the dance floor.

The bodyguards made a great effort to keep revellers at arm’s length, who were excited to meet the CS as he mingled with the crowd.

Reacting to the fall, Kenyans on social media said the clip was great fodder for DJs interested in using it in jingles.

While it is not clear what triggered the fall, the larger-than-life Kenya Kwanza leader has in the past struggled with ill-health.
