Davido unveils adorable twins for the first time on his birthday
International music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, marked his 31st birthday on November 21, 2023, with a special revelation sharing the first glimpse of his newborn twins.
The celebratory tweet featured a touching image of Davido kissing his wife, Chioma Rowland, as well as a snapshot of his father, Deji Adeleke.
Davido and Chioma welcomed their twins in October at a hospital in the United States, a joyful occasion that was captured in a viral video last month.
The footage showed Chioma holding their newborns while sitting in a wheelchair outside the hospital.
In a recent interview, Davido opened up about the emotional journey of expecting twins while grappling with the loss of their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyichukwu Adeleke. “When me and my wife found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month, happened in October, and my wife gave birth in October, it’s crazy,” Davido shared.
Despite the heart-wrenching loss, Davido expressed gratitude for his support system and the ability to find solace in his passion. “There are a lot of people that those things happen to; you would never want to believe in God in your life. But to still have faith and I’m still able to do what I love, having a great team around me. And now we’re almost at the finish line,” he added.
As Davido enters a new year of life, his fans and well-wishers are celebrating not only his musical achievements but also the joyous moments of family and resilience.
