Edday Nderitu confirms she will not return to Kenya

Edday Nderitu, the wife of Mugithi musician Samidoh Muchoki, has hinted that she might not reunite with her husband anytime soon.

The news broke through a Facebook conversation with a concerned fan, Kamau Mpesa, who expressed her displeasure with Edday’s presenter, Bernice, for not advocating for Edday’s return to Samidoh.

“I know you will say it’s jealousy but I’m not here to praise Bernice. She wants Edday to leave Samidoh. That is very wrong. You can’t leave Samidoh because of marrying another wife. It rains everywhere,” Kamau stated.

Edday responded by challenging the assumption and urging the fan to read a previous extensive post she had made a few months prior.

“Do you remember that long post I made sometime back? Only a few understood what I meant,” the mother of three responded.

Edday was referring to her February announcement where had decided to end her union with Samidoh.

Taking to her Facebook account, Edday has expressed her disappointment in her husband and maintained that she will never raise their three children in a polygamous family set-up.

She went further to narrate how they began their marriage from nothing.

Edday stated that she has remained faithful through their 15 years of marriage despite Samidoh’s disrespect, humiliation and subjecting her to social media trolls.

She claimed that she helped nurture the musician’s talent and has supported him through his career.

“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, and for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation and being trolled on social media, you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted.

“I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect to my family ’kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it, I have asked God every day to give me strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to tell God about you, you have drag and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain may you remember this day,” she posted.
