Kipembe Mpuru: The 33 Year Old Wealthy Man With Over 18 High-end Cars

Not too many Kenyans of his age can afford Rodgers Kipembe Mpuru’s lifestyle.

Kipembe is the secretary-general of The National Ordinary Peoples Empowerment Union (NOPEU) party.

Kipembe is the son of former Tigania East Member of Parliament Mpuru Aburi​. He was born in Meru County and attended Moi Forces Academy before proceeding to the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree.

According to reports, the law graduate owns at least 18 high-end cars including a Porsche Cayenne, Land Rover Discovery, Toyota V8, 3 Range Rovers, and 6 Mercedes Benz among others.

Rodgers is a father of two and married to Betty Maingi.

The yard sits on a one-acre piece of land and accommodates over 200 wrecked vehicles.

Mpuru also has interests in politics, being among the founders of the National Ordinary Peoples Empowerment Union (NOPEU), and the current Secretary-General

The son to former Tigania East Member of Parliament Mpuru Aburi​ also owns Meru TV and Thiiri FM, TV and radio stations that broadcast in the Ameru language.

Mpuru also owns two multimillion homes, a multimillion mansion sitting on a 3-acre piece of land in Karen, Nairobi and a bungalow in his home village of Tigania East, Meru County.

Kipembe is also said to own a microfinance company with branches across Kenya and an upcoming TV station.
