Jamaican artist Richie Spice set to perform in Kisumu on May 28

Richell Bonner, popularly known as Richie Spice, a Jamaican reggae performer, is set to perform in Kisumu on May 28, according to Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o.

According to a notice for the event posted on Twitter by the county boss, the dancehall star will perform live at the Mamboleo Show Grounds.

“It’s coming home! Get ready for May 28th for a mega live performance by Richie Spice at the Mamboleo ASK Grounds,” Nyong’o said.

The concert has been sponsored by the Kisumu County Government and Ziva Empire.

Spice confirmed his tour of Kenya three weeks ago via Instagram saying he would be performing at the Goods Vibes Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) grounds on May 27.

“May 27, Nairobi Kenya I’ll be coming you way get your ticket’s now bless!”

The acclaimed dancehall artist, a member of the Rastafari movement, has dozens of songs to his name.

Among his most popular songs include ‘Earth a Run Red’, ‘Brown Skin’, ‘Grooving’ My Girl’, ‘Marijuana’ and ‘King and Queen.’
