Musician Mr Wise cries for help, claims his life is in danger over a song praising Ruto
Kamba musician Mr. Wise has cried for help after being attacked by unidentified goons.
He revealed to the media that five thugs attacked him on Saturday, July 30.
He claimed that the thugs demanded that he remove a campaign song that he had dedicated to William Ruto, a UDA presidential candidate.
“I was assaulted by five goons as I was going back to my house. I was driving my car and these people emerged and barricaded the way. They beat me up like a dog and even squeezed my fingers using plies.
They wanted me to delete the song. They tried to delete it but I couldn’t remember my password. So they gave me three days to pull the song down,” Wise said.
Wise was hospitalized after the event because he had bruises all over his face.
Wise asserted that his life was in danger and pleaded with Ruto to provide for his safety.
“My life is in danger because I don’t know what can happen next because they told me they would be back if I don’t pull down the song. I am afraid to go to my house because they might attack me again,” Wise told said while crying profusely.
Additionally, a video of him sobbing after the assault and showing off many facial bruises has gone viral.
