Samson Cherargei, a senator from Nandi, has requested that former president Uhuru Kenyatta reduce the prices of goods made by his enterprises.
Cherargei made this statement while urging Azimio leaders to join Kenyans in taking action in response to their group’s complaints about the high cost of living.
The UDA senator stated that Uhuru should reduce the cost of milk offered through his Brookside business on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Additionally, he asserted that since the former head of state purchases fuel through Rubis, the costs have to be reduced.
“I have been hearing our Azimio brothers saying that the cost of living is high. I want to challenge them that if they Sympathise with Kenyans, let Uhuru who sells fuel through Rubis lower the price of fuel so that we can know you stand with Kenyans. He sells milk to the entire country through Brookside let him lower the prices of milk, he said.
