Kenya ranked the 6th most beautiful country in the world

Kenya has been ranked the sixth most beautiful country in the world.

Kenya received a score of 6.7 out of a possible 10 on the Natural Beauty Report, a global study performed by the financial publication Money.co.uk.

The study reached its conclusions by examining the number of natural features, such as mountains, volcanoes, coral reefs, and more, per 100,000 square kilometers in each nation.

The nation, which is governed by President Uhuru Kenyatta, is home to eight volcanoes, five extremely prominent mountains, 630 square kilometers of coral reefs, 411 protected areas overall, 536 kilometers of coastline, 170,887 square kilometers of tropical forest, 28 glaciers, and 511 protected areas.

Tanzania, a neighbor of Kenya, came in at number four on the global natural beauty scale with a score of 6.98 out of 10.

Tanzania is home to 75 glaciers, three volcanoes, eleven extremely conspicuous mountains, 3,580 square kilometers of coral reefs, 836 protected areas overall, 1,424 kilometers of shoreline, and 387,944 square kilometers of tropical forest.

With a natural beauty score of 7.77, Indonesia came out on top, followed by New Zealand with 7.27, and Colombia with 7.16.

In other news, a poll by the international network of expatriates, InterNations, selected Nairobi as the best city to work in in Africa and 12th overall.
