Comedian Eric Omondi to lead protest to State House

Recently, Eric Omondi made news for staging a demonstration against the high cost of living in the nation and going shirtless in front of the parliament building.

The comedian who just abruptly transitioned into social advocacy made an appearance in a new video pleading with his followers to join him on an upcoming march to the State House.

On behalf of the suffering residents, Eric committed to immediately petition President William Ruto about the high and rising cost of living.

He captioned the video as follows:

“Next Week Tuesday 7th March we will March to State House from Uhuru Park to Present our CVs, Rent Arrears, School Fee Arrears, Basic Goods Shopping Lists, and Electricity Bills. This Wednesday we meet at City Stadium from 11 am to 2 pm as we share a packet of Unga with everyone that intends to join us at Statehouse.

We are calling upon well-wishers to donate Unga (DO NOT GIVE MONEY, JUST UNGA) If you want to donate a packet or more please Contact 0718891427 or bring the unga to City Stadium on Wednesday.”

The comedian continues by asking well-wishers to give maize flour in his subsequent post.

“This Wednesday we will be at City Stadium giving Free Packets of Unga. We are calling upon well-wishers who would wish to Donate packets of Unga to call or message 0718891427. DO NOT GIVE MONEY, JUST UNGA,” He wrote.
