Justina Wamae Reacts to Wajackoya’s Disciplinary Summon, Terms It Petty

Roots Party deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae has reacted to her boss and the party’s p[presidential candidate George Wajackoya’s move to summon her to a disciplinary hearing.

Yesterday, Wajackoya shocked many when he accused Wamae of misrepresenting the Roots Party’s position. In the summon later he shared with the public, Wajackoya termed Wamae’s lately behavior as malicious and a misrepresentation of the party’s belief.

The problem between the two seemed to have started after Wamae took to her social media platforms to congratulate Dr. William Ruto for winning the presidential election in the just concluded general elections.

Addressing Wajackoya’s summon, Wama claimed she would not respond to Wajackoya’s accusations. She went on to term the disciplinary hearing petty, insisting that she would not go.

“I will not respond to pettiness,” she said.

The heat of her response manifested when she denied being “sponsored” by the party. A while back, Wajackoya had revealed that he supported Wamae financially during the campaign period, something which Wamae now insists is non-existent.

She said, “ But on the non-existent accommodation and car, you imagined you ‘assisted’ me with you can withdraw in your dreams.”

The fierce politician went on to reveal that she was leaving Roots Party and that Wajackoya was free to do anything he wanted.

“It is your party do what you deem fit, I will soldier on,” she said adamantly.

Interestingly, it is not the first time the two leaders are showing their differences in public.

Days before the election, Wajackoya revealed that he was stepping down from the presidential race to support Raila. Wamae came out in public moments after and claimed that she had a different preferred candidate from her boss.

Wamae’s fame rose during the deputy presidential debate when she trounced Agano deputy presidential candidate Ruth Mutua by articulately expounding on the Roots Party manifesto of Weed.
