PHOTOS of Kenya’s gorgeous cop, Mary Wanunu, who got pregnant at 16

Mary Wanunu is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful policewomen in Kenya.

In a recent interview with Jeff Kuria, the prison-based detective talked openly about becoming pregnant in high school for her musician baby daddy.

She described how their relationship progressed from the beginnings of her school years to her pregnancy for him and the domestic abuse that followed once they moved in together.

The pregnancy also prompted a very awkward talk with her parents, particularly with her dad, a former police officer.

When Mary was a student at Komothai Girls School in 2010, she was singing a lot of his songs when she first met him.

“I loved entertainment and all things internet, so they used to come and perform, just the way musicians go to high schools to perform for students, he used to sing gospel those days although I have never spoken about him before so we met one of those days of entertainment and I was a huge fan of his.

“In fact, at some point, people used to call me his name, and it was because during the Sunday entertainment, students are selected to go on stage and sing their favorite song. So every Sunday I used to sing his music. whether he was there or not. So when he used to come, we would talk a lot and I even used to dance with him.”

“I mean I was a little grown-up we started talking, started meeting up we used to meet outside before I ever went to his house. I went to his house when I was finishing form 4.”

That is when the pregnancy happened something that didn’t please her parents in the slightest.

Dating again

Wanunu recently announced on her Facebook page that she is dating.

“My symbol of hope, light and happiness. You came to my life when I needed a shoulder to lean on. You Brought back light when my life was dull and fixed me back into one piece when I was broken into pieces…I will always be grateful to you for being the best and showing me the actual meaning of true love . Its a humble beginning and I believe the narratives will change .. God bless you always.. I love you.”
