“Endeni mkajinyonge!” Kabogo Insults Rowdy Youths Disrupting His speech in Rally

The Tujibebe Party leader, William Kabogo, who is also eying the Kiambu gubernatorial seat, insulted rowdy youths trying to shout him down when he was giving out his speech on Sunday 11 at the Kenya Kwanza political rally led by Deputy President, William Ruto.

In the video that is circulating the internet, Kabogo had just been invited by Ruto to address the crowd when a group of rowdy youths started shouting at him, refusing to listen to what he wanted to say.

At first, Kabogo reacted wisely by trying to calm the youth urging them to stop their disruption, for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance is full of peaceful people.

Nyinyi hapo wacheni fujo tafadhali, sisi ni watu wa amani,” he said.

But, his words could not calm the youth, who were now increasingly disruptive.

Nonetheless, he ignored the noise and proceeded to campaign for himself and Ruto, assuring the crowd that Ruto’s administration would bring money to local people and help them improve their lives.

In the other side, the rowdy youth had now become more agitated and they are seen walking away, causing Kabogo to lose his cool

He started telling off the youths that they had been sent to by Kenya Kwanza’s competitors to disrupt Ruto’s Rally.

“Endeni mkajinyonge!” he shouted at the youths.

He went on to tell the youths to stop their disruptiveness because Kenya is for everybody, after which he concluded by calling them, “wapumbavu nyinyi.”

This incident comes at a time when the politic intolerance is high, with youths being used by polticians to cause political chaos.

On Friday 9, the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) urged political leaders to be at the forefront of encouraging peaceful political campaigns. The commission also provided a 23-word-list, which politicians should abstain to use in public to avoid causing political tension.
