Popular comedian Mulamwa whose real name is David Oyando is celebrating his 29 birthday today, 28th May 2022.
In a post on his social media accounts, the comedian who has rubbed shoulders in the entertainment industry said he felt good to turn 29.
“Happy birthday to, 29 feels good. I thank God for another year of life and also all the KONKI fans for the support since day 1 .To many more years of good health , success and prosperity to us all,” comedian Mulamwa said.
Mulamwa has had a fair share of both the good and bad sides of the industry. At some point, he had contemplated quitting altogether.
In April 2020, he took to his social media pages to vent his frustration.
“It wasn’t an easy decision to make, I’m sorry guys. What was to make me happy has made me sadder. More enemies than friends, too much negativity and trolls,” part of his post read.
He would later thank his numerous fans for always having supported his journey and growth.
”I wasn’t here for fame and bad blood but for fun. Shukran sana kwa [thank you very much] for the support from the fans and everyone else who made it a success. To those who always wished the worst for me, I hope y’all happy now. The stage is all yours. My prayer is that no one else goes through the same again,” an emotional Mulamwa wrote.
