Kalenjin musician shocks fans after putting herself in a coffin in new song (VIDEO)

Popular Kalenjin musician who goes by stage name Smart lady has become the talk of town after featuring an expensive coffin in her new song that left everyone’s neck turned and tongues wagging.

In the new song titled ‘Rono’, the talented singer sings for her abusive husband, reminding him of how far they have come through challenges in their marriages.

With an aim to educate other couples, she puts herself in a coffin, act death; to portray how crazy love can lead to death in relationships and marriages.

This, however, did not sit well with a section of fans who felt offended by her action.

Though Smart lady had good intention to pass a message to the fans, majority of them believe it is a taboo to put yourself in a coffin.

According to Chamgei fm radio presenter, Chepolongisa Towett, the singer hired the coffin for Sh 55,000 only.

“Smart lady ali hire hiyo coffin at 55k only.. amesema ni kuwa unique ,haina mambo mingi.So muache kushtuka sana,” she posted on her account urging fans not to be scared.

The singer was forced to clear the air, saying:

“I send this beautiful song to all Couples Out there! who have been going through a lot in their relationships and gained al ot of pain, Take care, don’t Let the crazy love lead you to the grave, be smart,nobody deserve such pain,I love You All,Lets spread the love❤️”

The song has since garnered 36,533 YouTube views in the last two days.
