“Ashaa toa mahari millioni mia” – Marioo pays Sh6 million dowry for Paula Kajala

Congratulations are flooding in as news of Tanzanian artist Marioo and social media sensation Paula Kajala’s wedding spreads.

According to reports, Marioo paid 100 million Tanzanian shillings (Sh5.8 million) in dowry to marry Frida Kajala’s daughter, Paula Masanja.

The traditional wedding became popular after a video was published online by the Tanzanian entertainment page Bongo Trending, in which Paula and her mother were dressed in red shukas.

The two couldn’t stop smiling broadly as the exchanged words here and there with other unidentified guests around them. Paula couldn’t stop embracing her mom as she laughed and smiled unable to contain her joy.

Speaking to the cameraman who asked, “watu washaa toa mali?” Paula went on to disclose the dowry amount while engaging in a short conversation with the individual who went on to identify himself as, “uncle wa familia ya Kajala Masanja,”

Paula with a shy smile still smitten responded to the cameraman highlighting that her boo was doing fine and had already submitted a dowry of TSh 100 million (KSh 5.8 million.

“Ashaa toa mahari ya watu… Millioni mia,” the social media influencer cutely said.

4 months ago, Paula announced that singer/ songwriter Marioo was it for her.

According to the young entrepreneur, she sees a future with the artist and if this fails she has no plans of ever dating again. A little extreme coming from someone who isn’t even 25 and has her whole world ahead of her but okay.

Paula made the bold suggestion after she posted a picture of her new boyfriend, Marioo on her Instagram page letting her over 1.2 million followers know that he was it for her.

“My last,” Paula captioned the photo.
