A celebration in Nairobi’s Riruta neighborhood turned tragic when one of the guests fell to his death from the house’s fifth storey.
Gachui Karanja, 20, was one of roughly eight individuals in the flat when he left and stood on the balcony on the fifth story.
Some in the audience claimed they assumed Karanja was on the phone on the balcony.
They did, however, hear him cry before hearing a thump. They sensed something was wrong and raced out to see him lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor.
The bleeding was caused by Karanja landing on his head.
Over the weekend, there was an incident.
