“You need to grow up!” – Tumiso tells Kenyans body-shaming her mum Wahu
Tumiso Mathenge, the eldest child of Nameless and Wahu, has just taken her claws off to fend against trolls who have been body-shaming her mother since she seems to have put on a few more pounds.
The 16-year-old used her Instagram stories to call out the aforementioned fat-shaming bullies and urge them to mature and change their way of thinking.
It’s so awful that a young person has to see it and then report trolling.
Tumiso expressed her dissatisfaction at the fact that the majority of those attempting to disparage her mother were women, those who should have the greatest empathy for, support for, and understanding of the veteran artist.
“I just wanted to address the people body shaming @Wahu Kagwi on her recent post, I find it really sad that it is mostly women talking about her body,” started off the teenager.
Adding:
“I honestly expected better from you people. And the fact that she just had a baby!” Tumiso wrote.
“You guys need to grow up for real,” the rest of her post read.
The post was also shared by Wahu on her Instagram profile, although she left it blank.
The “Liar” hitmaker shared a photo of herself updating her over 1.8 million Instagram followers on her current en devours, and the derogatory comments soon began to pour in.
Wahu was at the 1st ever joint committee meeting of the earlier formed Creatives and Sports Technical Team with Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba.
She gushed over how excited she was to be part of the team as she shared her gratitude for the opportunity to serve.
Following the post, a section of netizens felt the need to comment on Wahu’s new weight as they asked her to hit the gym as soon as possible as they felt she needed to get back to her previous size.
A move that seemed to displease her first-born daughter who is usually very low-key and keeps away from the media’s eyes.
