Former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has recently responded to speculations regarding his alleged marriage to another woman.
Oparanya is known to have two publicly recognized wives, but there have been rumors suggesting he may have additional spouses.
Stunning images of Oparanya alongside a woman named Mary Biketi have been making rounds on social media, prompting the seasoned Luhya politician to make a statement.
While in Mombasa at the moment, Oparanya confirmed the authenticity of the photos and expressed confusion as to why they were leaked to the public.
“I have seen someone circulating genuine photos. I don’t know why someone would waste time circulating them. It is very unfortunate that wherever I took those photos they leaked them to the press. Those are very decent photos and I don’t know the interest that people have when you have taken photos with a loved one,” he said.
The politician also denied being hospitalised, slamming those spreading rumours.
“…And there is now fake news I am in hospiotal I am sick and here I am. I have a big family to protect. Those sending out fake news should stop,” he said
A day ago, after their photos together circulated, Mary shared a photo posing with Oparanya, leaving netizens with mixed reactions.
