We miss you! Kenyans celebrate Uhuru’s birthday in sweet messages

Kenyans have joined retired President Uhuru Kenyatta in celebrating his birthday on Thursday, October 26.

Kenyans rushed to various social media platforms, as netizens congratulated the former head of state on his 62nd birthday.

Uhuru was born on October 26, 1961, and is the son of Kenya’s founding president, Jomo Kenyatta and Mama Ngina.

Kenyans who wished the former head of state a happy birthday also took the chance to express gratitude for Uhuru’s contribution towards Kenya’s infrastructure and his bid to unite the country.

Kenyans took to social media platforms to share some famous quotes from the fourth Kenyan head of state.

Some were also keen to point out that they missed his state address and shirts that became popular during the COVID-19 pandemic.
