Trio Mio, Iyanii And Femi One Fire Perfomance on Madaraka Day Celebrations

Yesterday, rapper Femi One, Trio Mio and singer Iyanii brought the house down at the 59th celebration of Madaraka Day.

The trio have recorded a patriotic song dubbed Tunaweza.

It was released today, watch it below.

The song portrays their pride in Kenya and being children of the freedoms the country affords them

The production is executive produced by Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC) and directed by Dr Donald Otoyo.

Speaking about the day’s entertainment, PPMC Director Dr Donald Otoyo said, “Kenyans should expect a great set of performances ranging from traditional dances, choral music to contemporary music. Just like in the 2021 Jamhuri Day celebrations, Madaraka Day 2022 will also feature Kenya’s Gengetone sound.”

He added, “@ppmc_kenya is confident that the artistes and acts curated for Madaraka Day 2022 will represent diversity and inclusivity among various artists and music genres in Kenyan music.”

The single is produced by Motif Di Don who brought his A-game to the studio because the beat is upbeat, thumpy and very danceable.

It was shot in various locations like Nairobi National Park, Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, Kasarani Stadium.

Te man with the biggest Tiktok hit, Kamba sensation Mutulani Kasheshe  also performed his hit,  “Kungulu Kangala.”
