Rapper Prezzo Gives His Life to Christ, Transitions to Gospel Music
Kenyan rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini, famously known as Prezzo, has taken a transformative step by dedicating his life to Christ and joining Reverend Lucy Natasha’s Empowerment Christian Church in Nairobi.
The celebrated “Naija Girl” hitmaker attended a church service on Sunday, October 27, where he publicly announced his commitment to a new path in faith and gospel music.
Prezzo’s heartfelt declaration marked a significant shift as he decided to move away from secular music, venturing into the world of gospel to share his spiritual journey.
He expressed profound gratitude to Reverend Natasha for guiding him, stating,
“Big shout out to my reverend, Lucy Natasha. If it weren’t for you, I would not be in this gospel zone. We want to do a song for the Lord, and I am blessed enough to premiere the song in front of people.”
During the service, Prezzo shared his first gospel performance, unveiling a new song inspired by his renewed faith. Reverend Natasha, who leads Empowerment Christian Church, celebrated Prezzo’s decision on social media, commending his courage to embrace this new direction.
“When you enter His presence with praise, He enters your circumstances with power! Congratulations to my spiritual son @prezzo254 for the release of your new gospel song that launched today @eccnairobi,” she wrote.
