Rachel Ruto celebrates her hubby after debate: “You were perfect”

William Ruto, a presidential contender for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, received praise on social media from his wife Rachel for his outstanding performance in the debate.

In order to respond to questions from the moderators regarding his plans for Kenyans if he wins the general election on August 9, Ruto participated in the presidential debate at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

As the wife of Kenya’s Deputy President and a devoted mother, educator, and advocate for women’s economic development, Rachel Ruto characterizes herself.

In praise for him, his wife referred to the fact that he was the only guy on the podium by remarking that he was the only man standing.

“Congratulations, Bill. You were perfect. The last man standing. May God carry you through,” Rachel said.

Ruto described how he met his wonderful wife 30 years ago at a university evangelical group in a previous interview.

Rachel was pursuing her education degree while Ruto was pursuing a BSc in botany and zoology.

Debate

What was intended to be a discussion ended up being a “interview,” because Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Raila Odinga was not present.

“My competitor is not here because he doesn’t have a plan; he doesn’t have an agenda. I hoped that my competitor would’ve been here so that Kenyans would’ve had the benefit of looking at both sides. But, there’s only one plan by Kenya Kwanza for this year’s election; the other side has sketches,” Ruto said in regards to Raila Odinga’s absence.
