Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition, has surpassed his arch political adversary, Deputy President William Ruto, in terms of popularity, according to a recent poll.
Raila now has 39 percent national support, according to a poll done by Trends and Insights For Africa (TIFA).
Raila is closely followed by Ruto, who has a 35 percent popularity rating, according to the findings revealed on Wednesday, May 18.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who recently stated that he will run for president, came in third place with only 2% of the vote.
14 percent of those polled stated they were still undecided, while 1% said they would not vote.
