Lucy Nganga, a Nairobi woman, tragically passed away at a Nairobi Hospital following complications from cosmetic surgery.
Lucy, wife to businessman Francis Ng’ang’a, owner of Valley Road Motors and Village Market Auto Bazaar, reportedly underwent surgery at Body By Design (Omnicare Medical).
According to influencer Amira, Lucy’s surgery was performed by a doctor not qualified as a plastic surgeon, leading to serious complications.
Lucy was discharged despite severe pain, returned to the clinic to find no doctor present, and was then rushed to Nairobi Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
In her social media post, Amira emphasized Lucy’s suffering due to alleged medical negligence and malpractice, expressing a strong call for justice.
“It is very sad to lose a beautiful lady like Lucy due to Negligence and Malpractice by people who are not qualified to perform Plastic Surgery procedures. Lucy had her surgery done at Body By Design (Omnicare Medical) by a doctor who has been confirmed not to be a Plastic Surgeon and her Intestines were perforated and stool leaked into the tummy causing very bad infection that led to her death.
She was in pain and was discharged home from Body By Design on 22hd but the pain became unbearable the same day and she went back only to find no doctor and was then rushed to Nairobi Hospital where her condition was so bad she went for surgery to try and clean the tummy and remove the stool in the tummy where they found the intestines were perforated 5 times.”
“Her condition was so bad she ended up in ICU and died 4 days later. Her postmortem has confirmed this and justice will be served! May Lucy Rest In Eternal Peace!”
A close friend of the deceased family, Mike Sonko, also wrote a heartfelt ode to Lucy that included information about her funeral plans.
“My friend Nganga (CEO Valley Road motors and Village market auto Bazaar) accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your lovely wife Lucy. May the almighty God cover you and your entire family with his unending Grace. May He gives you strength to accept that Lucy has gone …. Haki, my family will dearly miss her, especially the good days we used to spend together with her over the holidays. I will not forget how she campaigned for me and mobilised the people of Shelly Beach, Likoni, to support me when I was contesting for the Mombasa gubernatorial race.
