Kipsigis Girls principal dies in mysterious circumstance
The academic deputy principal of Kipsigis Girls High School has passed away.
The deputy principal was discovered unconscious in her bedroom and sent to Siloam Hospital, according to a complaint that was given to Peter Mutuma, Officer Commanding Police Division, Kericho East, at 8:22 a.m. on Thursday.
“Unfortunately, she was declared dead upon arrival,” he said.
The OCPD revealed that the school Principal Christine Chumba had informed him that the deceased was diagnosed with low blood levels and had even gone for medical check-up.
“We are waiting for an autopsy to be conducted to unravel the cause of death,” said Mutuma.
Chumba refrained from commenting on the matter, even as the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Kericho Officer Commanding Station began looking into the deputy principal’s passing.
The body was sent to the mortuary at Siloam Hospital.
