President Uhuru to meet newly elected Azimio leaders at 10am

From 10 am on Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta will meet with every newly elected Azimio leader.

It’s unclear if the meeting will take place at the KICC or the State House, or what the agenda will be.

However, sources claim that the president wants to assess how his coalition performed and decide on the best course of action.

The president is also anticipated to speak about the presidential results, which the IEBC has yet to fully tabulate and make public.

Earlier that day, Dennis Onsarigo, the press secretary for Raila Odinga, had stated that Azimio la Umoja would have an inaugural conference for its elected members.

According to Onsarigo, the meeting would start at 10 a.m. at KICC.

It has been recommended that attendees wear Azimio’s blue colors.

According to the forms that have been confirmed so far, Azimio has won 147 MP seats, seven Senate seats, and ten governor seats.

Ninety-nine percent of the results from the voting locations have been electronically submitted three days after the polls closed.

The Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission has only confirmed and made public a tiny number.
