“I have been on a journey of self-improvement” – Miss Mandi Apologizes After Claims of Being Toxic

A day after NTV presenter Amina Abdi apologized to Kenyans after being accused of being toxic, another former Capital FM presenter Mandi Sarro, Aka Miss Mandi, has followed suit issuing a statement of apology addressing accusations of bullying colleagues, making life unbearable at the workplace.

Mandi had been called out by a former colleague, Gibobu Koome for being a bully and making his life unbearable at the workplace.

The former radio presenter took to social media on Saturday, January 22, to apologise for her actions- noting that she took the lessons as a chance for self evaluation and improvement.

She indicated that she would continue to work on herself and learn from her past mistakes and interactions.

“I do not recall the many experiences recounted online, but I feel terrible that some of my actions may have caused distress. I have been on a journey of self-improvement for the past decade. I will continue to work to be the better version of myself.”

“As I grow older I have ensured to continuously correct my behaviour at the earliest opportunity and learn from my past mistakes and interactions,” she noted.

Mandi also highlighted that the vile person portrayed on social media did not represent her morals and values. She also advocated for a healthy and safe workplace for all regardless of their status.

“I cannot underestimate how important it is to create safe workspaces for all I come into contact with.

“So I pray and hope that anyone who may have been hurt by previous colleagues will find new ways to address those conflicts which allow them to be genuinely resolved,” she stated.

The YouTuber also lauded those who had taken their time in order to give their counsel regarding the matter- adding that it would not go in vain.

“I have been on a journey of self-improvement for the past decade and that path is going to continue. We are all more than our worst moments, I will continue to work to be the best version of myself. The world needs more kindness and love and I want to continue to contribute to it.

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to speak with me regarding this. your counsel will not be in vain,” she stated.

This comes as NTV’s The Trend host Amina Abdi Rabar also issued an apology after her name was dragged in the conversations of being a toxic worker.
