Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz earns more than 48,000 dollars, an average of Sh113.5 million per month from the YouTube network.
This is according to the Africa Facts Zone network which has explained that he gets the money from his channel with 7.73 million subscribers.
It should be noted that so far Diamond is the most viewed artist on YouTube in the South of the Sahara Desert for all time having received more than 2.17 billion views.
Besides YouTube, Africa Facts Zone, they have reported that Diamond charges $100,000, an average of Sh236.5 million, he also earns $30,000, an average of Sh70.9 every month from brand deals (endorsement).
They explain that Diamond has 11 houses, Hotel, Radio and TV Stations, while he owns land worth 771,000 Dollars, an average of Sh1.8 billion.
It should be noted that Diamond, who came out musically in 2009, has won international awards such as Channel O, MTV, Soundcity, Headies, Afrima, Afrimma, Kora, AEA, EAUSA, the HiPipo Music Awards, etc., making him the only Bongo artist to achieve such success in a period of 10 years.
He holds the record of winning seven Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards (KTMA) 2014 in one night, he is close to Alikiba who won five awards in 2015 which is equal to 20 Percent in 2011.
He is the first Bongo artist to be selected to compete for BET awards in the Best International Act category, he has already competed three times (2014, 2016 & 2021) making him the only Bongo artist who has competed multiple times.
For a period of 13 years in Bongofleva music, Diamond has been able to win and be awarded more than 46 local and international awards, beating Lady Jaydee with more than 35 awards.
Within that time, Diamond Platnumz has released three albums, Kamwambie (2010), Lala Salama (2012), A Boy From Tandale (2018), as well as Extended Playlist (EP), First of All (2022).
