The Bongo singer has bought an island in the Zanzibar archipelago reportedly for a whopping Tsh1.8 billion or Ksh92 million.
Tanzanian media report that the ‘Mtasubiri’ hitmaker is building a high-end hotel in Zanzibar as he seeks to tap into the flourishing tourism business in the famous holiday paradise.
The Bongo singer on Tuesday evening May 31, 2022, took to social media and posted several clips that showed his project in Zanzibar.
Diamond is arguably the richest musician in East Africa. He has demonstrated how wealthy he is by buying expensive cars and other valuables.
On June 7, 2021, the Bongo singer bought a Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge in Dubai that cost him 2,250,000 United Arab Emirates dirham which is equivalent to Ksh71 million.
Diamond on May 11, 2022, announced that he will buy a private jet this year while thanking his management for buying him the Rolls Royce Cullinan.
