Content creator Sharon K Mwangi has given her life to Christ after sinning for years.
She uploaded a video of herself being baptized in a swimming pool in June by a Minister of the Gospel.
“3 weeks ago I got baptized and made a public declaration of my faith in Christ. 🤍”, she said.
She indicated that that was the best decision of her life. She was born again in 2017.
“7 years ago I gave my life to Christ on my bedroom floor. I had reached the end of myself and I cried out to Him after episodes of depression and suicidal thoughts,” she added.
The lifestyle creator explained the significance of the choice she has made. She meant to get baptized as a child but that never happened.
She is now baptized as an adult.
“I was conscious of my decision, I knew what it meant, I knew what I was signing up for. I felt alot more aware,” she shared details.
Adding, she expected to feel different when coming out of the pool.
“Co the old is gone and the new has come, you kind of become a new version of yourself when you get baptized. O rather that’s what Baptizim is supposed to do right?” Sharon K said.
She explained that something in her has shifted.
“I thought that was gonna happen instantly, it didn’t happen instantly, but over the last 3 weeks I’ve been talking about this with Bree, that we’ve been feeling like an urge or a push to just spend more time, with God, to read the Bible more, to pray more, to just be in his presence”
“He took me out of the deepest, darkest pit that I had dug myself into, dusted me off, and gave me a new lease on life 🥹It’s been 7 years of God leaving the 99 for me, over and over again! It’s been a journey of Him molding me, teaching me, and guiding me.”
Sharon was baptized at the Adullam Ministry, Nairobi.
“It’s been hard, I won’t lie! One thing that has remained constant, however, is how much He loves me ❤️When people ask me why I believe in God, this is my answer.”
“My testimony is that It could only be God. 🤍2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
