Phelix Odiwour alias Jalang’o, a seasoned media personality, has been proclaimed the winner of the Orange Democratic Movement party’s Lang’ata Constituency ticket.
Following closely contested primaries on April 22, 2022, the former Kiss 100 host broke the good news with his supporters.
Jalas defeated six opponents to become the ODM Party’s ticket holder ahead of the August 9 general election.
“God has given me the chance to fly the Azimio Flag in the August Elections!! Thank you Langata! We are one step in! Now the real work begins!! God above everything!!

In the 2019 general election, Jalang’o will face United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Nixon Korir.
