Bishop Arrested For Sleeping With Biological Daughter
Police in Rangwe Sub-County, Homa Bay County, have arrested a bishop from a local church in Ndiru village, Kokoko Sub-location, on allegations of engaging in sexual relations with his biological daughter.
The arrest followed complaints from concerned members of the public, prompting officers from Ndiru Police Station to take action.
Rangwe Sub-County Police Commander Magdaline Chebet confirmed that the police received a tip-off accusing the bishop of being involved in an illicit relationship with his daughter, who is reportedly married but separated from her husband.
“Officers, led by the OCS, acted swiftly on the public outcry and apprehended the bishop at his residence,” Chebet stated.
The bishop is currently being held at Ndiru Police Station as investigations into the allegations continue.
Meanwhile, the daughter underwent questioning and a medical evaluation before being released.
The incident has shocked the local community, with police assuring residents of a thorough probe to ensure justice is served.
